    PM Modi’s Visakhapatnam Visit Set to Launch ₹2 Lakh Crore in Key Infrastructure Projects

    Visakhapatnam, January 8, 2025 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Visakhapatnam today, marking his first trip to Andhra Pradesh after his third-term election. During the visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone and inaugurate several projects virtually. After arriving at INS Dega at 4:15 PM, he will participate in a grand roadshow from Siripuram Junction to AU Engineering College Grounds, followed by a public meeting from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM.

    Key projects include the ₹1.85 lakh crore NTPC Integrated Green Hydrogen Hub in Anakapalli district, a ₹1,500-crore industrial hub in Krishnapatnam, and a ₹1,800-crore pharmaceutical park in Nakkapalli. PM Modi also plans to initiate the Krishnapatnam industrial region under the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor. He expressed excitement about launching these initiatives, focusing on green energy and industrial growth, while CM Chandrababu Naidu called the projects a milestone for Andhra Pradesh’s development.

    The government has made elaborate arrangements, expecting a turnout of 2 lakh attendees at the public meeting and 1 lakh participants in the roadshow. Security has been strengthened with 3,000 police personnel, CCTV cameras, and drones. BJP leaders, including Union Minister Bhupatiraju Srinivas Varma, have reviewed preparations to ensure the event’s success.
