New Delhi, February 4, 2025 – The 2025 ETS Human Progress Report reveals that 80% of Indians use AI tools to develop career-enhancing skills. The report shows emerging economies like India are more focused on AI-driven skill development than developed regions. Nearly 86% of respondents agree that certifying their skills boosts job prospects, with 84% of Indians valuing skill improvement for career growth.
The report also noted that 74% of employees want to benchmark their skills against industry peers, with 68% preferring skill assessments based on real-world achievements. India recorded a Human Progress Index of 85.8, marking a significant change of 5.6. Amit Sevak, CEO of ETS, stressed the importance of adaptability, resilience, and collaboration in today’s workforce.
