    ₹25 Lakh Health Insurance, Free Power & Housing in AP Budget 2025

    Amaravati, February 28, 2025 – The Andhra Pradesh Budget 2025-26 prioritizes welfare schemes, allocating funds for farmers, students, and healthcare. Under Annadata Sukhibhava, farmers will receive ₹20,000, while the Talliki Vandanam scheme grants ₹15,000 per student from grades 1 to 12 in government and private schools. A health insurance scheme with ₹25 lakh coverage per year has been introduced, alongside continued support for NTR health services.

    The budget includes free electricity for SC, ST families (200 units), weavers (up to 500 units), and barbers (200 units). It proposes 7 lakh houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, with extra support for SC and ST beneficiaries. Fishermen will receive ₹20,000 during the fishing ban period, and Deepam 2.0 and Adarana schemes have been revived. Additionally, 12 old-age homes will be set up for senior citizens.
